Jerry and Sherry couldn't wait to get married. The army had other ideas. Jerry was in Iraq.
Sherry called me on Monday and wanted to get married on Saturday, August 22, 2009, if Jerry could get home in time. Jerry got home on Thursday, and the wedding was on.
Sherry wanted to get married on a sand bar in Bogue Sound. Nature had other ideas. Hurricane Bill was out near Bermuda, but the storm surge and high tide wiped out all the sand bars.
Jerry and Sherry were married in the boat. No matter. They are just as married.
